RHS Seeks Board of Trustees Members
Do you have an interest and passion for preserving and sharing your community’s history? If so, we invite you to consider joining the Rensselaerville Historical Society's (RHS) Board of Trustees.
As an organization with no paid staff the RHS Board plays a vital role in guiding the Society’s mission, providing programming, ensuring its sustainability, and shaping its future. Generally speaking, the time commitment is less than that of other local nonprofits. The Board meets nine times per year — monthly between March and November. Meetings typically run between an hour and an hour-and-a-half. The Board manages two-to four events per year. Overall, Trustees are expected to:

- attend the monthly meetings,
- staff events,
- take a shift or two at the Grist Mill during the times when it is open to the public, and
- participate in work parties for maintaining the Mill.
